So, Femslash February is a challenge to create two or more femslash fanworks sometime during this month.

Feel like making something about the ladies of Merlin but don't know where to start? Start a thread for yourself and we'll come back at you with some prompts.

Example prompt requests:
* I feel like drawing me some Merlin actresses. Give me a pairing or threesome.
* Want to write Gwen/ladies drabbles. Three-word prompts please!
* I'm looking for Merlin femslash authors with blanket permission to podfic. Would especially love links to Gwen/Morgana stories of around 5000 words.
* I'm trying to fill the "long-distance relationship" and "sunrise / sunset" squares on my cottoncandy_bingo card, probably with fic (though maybe not!fic or meta or picspam?). Anyone have any ideas?

When posting a fill, make it a reply to the comment with the prompt, and try to write something like "[character/character] [type of fanwork]: [Title]" in the subject line to make it easier to find. You can either post your work in the comment itself or link to your own journal, AO3, etc.

The first thread is for general prompts, not aimed at a specific creator. Anyone should feel welcome to pick up any of these prompts!

And it's fine if the thing you made doesn't actually fit the prompt that inspired it. LET'S JUST MAKE A LOT OF MERLIN FEMSLASH FANWORKS OKAY PEOPLE.

I would love some Elena/Freya art (or anything!) involving water - something like Elena riding through a stream or wading into the lake or something equally wet and tomboyish, with Freya watching or reaching out to her from the water. Idk, I just like the idea of a wet Elena and a yearning Freya. ^_^

Nimueh(aka Kara)/Gwen - in the servant's quarters or something!

Isolde/Annis - Isolde was a mercenary before she ran into Tristan and decided to try out a thieving life.

Vivian/Gwen - AU where the magical events of 'Sweet Dreams' never happen and Gwen has to serve Vivian the entire time her father is in Camelot negotiating with Uther. Vivian demands constant attention, service, and validation for her beauty, and Gwen's unique brand of patience and honesty (and honest appreciation of Vivian's looks, even if she is an incredible brat) cause Vivian to actually pay some mind to Gwen as a person and less as an object for her own use. In the end, the person she (genuinely) regrets leaving behind is Gwen, not Arthur.

Elena/Enmyria - there's a strange, red-headed girl who calls Elena out to play in the woods as a child.

Annis/Morgana, Annis is the detective chief inspector heading up the investigation into the murder of Uther Pendragon.

Okay you guys I'm sorry if this is weird but it's what I want to do. Last month I wrote 25 Merlin femslash drabbles. I would like to remix one or two of them into something between 750 and 1500 words. Help me choose? You don't even have to read them if you don't feel like it, just skim through the chapter headings and vote for one or two or three.

All my favourite Merlin femmeslash ships are rarepairs! I particularly like:

Freya/Vivian
Vivian/Elena
Freya/Elena

But honestly I am up for trying out any rarepair femmeslash. :D Which for the purposes of this post shall be anything that is not Gwen/Morgana or Morgana/Morgause.

I'm after:

-Prompts for drabbles/ficlets
-Or a femmeslash pairing you've not seen written (e.g. Gwen/Morgause has only been written once to my knowledge)
-Canon or AU, I don't mind

Freya/Vivian, mid-20th century office or newspaper AU, Vivian is used to using her feminine wiles to get her way, Freya wants to be respected for doing the same work as the men.

Gwen/Elena, bodyswap OR mistaken identities.

Morgana/Mithian, grad school rivals.

What about:

Freya/Vivian canon AU where Freya either doesn't get cursed and is Vivian's maidservant or was Vivian's maidservant before she got cursed and she and Vivian rescue each other.

Freya/Morgana modern AU, Freya works at the animal shelter, Morgana wants a new cat.

Elena/Vivian modern AU, blind date (set up by their fathers, maybe?)

Ah, how I fondly remember Season 1, where things were simple and this pairing captured my heart. Would love some prompts for writing, preferably alternate canons or full AUs.

Oh man, I have also had a recent resurgence of Nimueh feelings.

-University AU, Nimueh is Morgana's TA or academic advisor
-Morgana/Nimueh IN SPACE (for example, Nimueh is the leader of the enemy army and Morgana is her secret agent)
-Canon AU, Morgana convinces Merlin, Gwen, and Arthur to join Nimueh's revolution against Uther

Inception AU - Morgana needs to perform inception for ~reasons and has to convince Gwen, who left the business when she left Morgana, to be her architect, because she's the best Morgana's ever met.

Sky High AU - Gwen's been in love with her best friend Merlin forever. In an attempt to make him jealous, she fake-dates his ~nemesis Morgana only to find somewhere along the way that it isn't Merlin she wants after all.

high school AU - The drama department's putting on a production of As You Like It. Gwen gets roped into joining the stage crew so Morgana decides to audition, and ends up getting Rosalind. DRAMA ENSUES. (pun intended)

Season 1 & 2 Femslash Prompts?

So I pretty much stopped watching the show after the 2nd season, but I still love the ladies.

I'd love rarepair prompts involving female characters from the 1st two seasons.

On the same note I'd like existing stories in that category to podfic too?

A few possibilities:

Vivian/Morgause, it takes a High Priestess to break the spell on Vivian (also possible with Vivian/Morgana?)

Morgause/Nimueh, priestess initiation ritual

Gwen/Freya, Gwen is the one who rescues Freya and tries to get her out of the city.

Hopefully one of these will spark an interest?

I've been feeling pretty writerly-blocked lately, but I am DETERMINED to write something for this month! If anyone has any alternate universe type prompts, I'd LOVE to hear them. Any kind of au! Modern au and historical au are some of my favorites, but crossover/fusion type au (tv/film/literature) or trope-based au are also welcome!

I mostly write Gwen/Morgana, but am open to other pairings (especially ones that include Freya, Morgause, and Nimueh)!

ummm I've been really wanting to prompt someone with a historical Morgana/Gwen suffragette AU? Either UK or US would be awesome, though I guess UK would make more sense. And it could also feature most of the other ladies, of course!
