Remix Madness
Sign-ups are open for another round of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
remixthedrabble! This time, one can sign up just as a writer to remix someone else's fic (if, say, you don't have enough fics already or if you're protective of your own stories) or just as a remixee, to make your stories available (if you don't feel up to writing for a challenge deadline). Or, of course, as both.
It looks like several new people have joined in for this round and it would certainly be lovely to have more (and to have a hobbit contingent like we did for the first round!). Sign-ups are open until March 7th and the ficlets are due by April 1st.
Meanwhile, assignments have been sent out forremixredux08 and I'm very happy with mine. Here's a note for the person assigned to me.

Whee, remix!!
You were probably matched with me for LotR fandom. I sure hope you like hobbits! I have written mostly about Frodo, Merry and Pippin, sometimes in gen stories, sometimes paired with each other, and sometimes Frodo paired with Aragorn. (Sam is often at the edges of my stories because I suck at writing him.)
If hobbits are not your thing, you might still find something to work with in Not Yourself, If I Keep You Beside Me, Lost in Translation, Leaving, Thirst, or The Silent Street. These are hobbit-centric stories as I wrote them, but they take place outside the Shire and are mostly gen, so you could switch the focus around to an Elf or a Man or a Wizard.
I did some editing to my fic masterlist last week since I knew you'd be coming, and I think I've got everything there now, even the comment fic and the haikus. There's a section for LotR and a section for The Faculty, then a section for the fandoms where I've written at least one actual fic (Children of Men, Harry Potter, Heroes, Lost, and Saved!), and finally a section for the fandoms where I've only written short ficlets. I'm in the middle of reoganizing my tags so not all of them work and there are some broken links on multi-chapter fics. Sorry about that.
I didn't specify any safe stories so please go with whatever takes your fancy. Change things up as much as you like, I am really not protective of my fics or pairings. I do ask that you leave the WIPs (marked on the index as "in progress" or "abandoned") alone, even the ones that I haven't updated in a very long time. Oh, but I have a series of Pippin stories called Odd and Even Numbers that looks like a WIP but is really a series of stand-alone fics, so any of those are good for remixing too.
