I love this story so much omg, and I have been wanting you to write this remix ever since you commented on chapter three of 'A Long Road'. But Peri here is great, and I like how you write Cellie as well, and Peri really is clever and kind and the ending is perfect in its unhappiness. It kind of makes my heart do funny things. Good but also funny things. It's beautiful, and I'm very happy that you wrote it for me.

But Periwinkle found she hadn't much desire to go. For she had never been friends with Celandine, after all. She'd fallen in love with a lass from Needlehole, with walnut dark curls and a sad quiet smile. The happy hobbit who wrote to her from Buckland might as well be a stranger.
