I have been wanting to write this ever since I read yours too, and that was back in July!! Thank you for suggesting this in the post the other day. It had been stuck at 10 words for ages but I enjoyed writing it so very much. You know I tend not to like happy endings that are too neat, and in the unfinished Rosie fic when Pippin gives Frodo the There Are No OTPs speech it is all about the messiness in what looks to some people (say, two of them) like a happy ending. So that is why at first I was worried about writing the ending this way and then I liked how it worked out. You know?
