Wow, this just blew me away. The internal struggle, the desire to give in and let go of it all, with a hint of the desire to be taken and possessed, all are so well expressed.

The idea that Frodo was tempted to let go of hope and give in is so believable. He is even more tortured by the inner struggle than the constant torment of his body.
