I came here from the remix and I was so touched by this tough-tender piece. I liked so much about it, Zeke's grouchiness even while he's trying to be caring, his gradual realization of why he's even doing this. Casey's defensiveness was spot-on and his reasons for hiding his plight so moving. I like that Zeke's sneaky-thieving persona is used for something good here, and that Casey awakeness his need to nurture. It's more real that it's scratchy between them, and that Zeke delivers his help and his advice with a gruff detachment. There's a lot going on in this deceptively simple piece! Thank you!
