Do you know the novel Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides? In the first part of it there's a story of a love affair between a brother and sister in this little Greek village in Turkey and it's really great. And then the rest of the book is also great.

I read it a couple years ago because I was living at home and my mom was reading it for a book group, and I just found out that we're also going to be reading it for a class I have this semester, so I'm excited.
