Well done! Someone recced this story at crack_broom, or I would have missed it. I love the details of the different magic in India. That's something I wish JKR had done in canon -- she included a nice ethnic mix of characters, but she never actually portrayed them as any different from the white characters. You create a good sense of cultures and differences here.
