I'm pretty sure that was before my time - I started reading hobbitfic in late 2004 and became active in fandom in 2005. I'm pretty sure I read a vampire hobbit story or two at Mirabella's website and I think Mary Borsellino and her friends had a couple of them, but I'm not familiar with the archive. I can try asking my friends list though.
