Hobbit remix almost ready

danachan will be posting the hobbit remix fics at a_conspiracy in a few more hours. (She'll use a sockpuppet account to which we both have access, so if you see any formatting errors, typos, etc. with your fic, just e-mail us both and whoever's available will take care of it.)

I'm very excited about all of it. I betaed a few of the fics and have read about half of them, and I'm so impressed with all the imaginative ways people came up with to work with someone else's story – make it complementary but make it their own, and change the reader's perspective on the original at the same time. There's also a great variety to them – all kinds of lengths and moods and genres, slash and het and gen, interhobbit and interspecies and even the one pairing (Frodo/Sam) that I didn't expect to see with this particular group of writers.

Well, I'll be linking to the fics again from here after I get off work tonight, but friend or join the comm if you'd like to see them as they go up. And remember, feedback is love. :)
