That sounds like fun! I've never seen a movie in 3D and I've always wondered if it would strain or hurt my eyes. Maybe someday I'll try it. :)
I'm always surprised at how little I cry while watching the movies as opposed to reading the books. I think I've cried while reading every book except for Chamber of Secrets but the only movie to make me cry was OotP, and during that same Harry & Sirius scene (particularly when Sirius says something like, "After this we'll be a real family"). :*(
Oh and I totally agree with you - quietly!angry Harry in the movie is so much more powerful (and likeable) than his book persona. All the capslock-rage grated on my nerves after awhile!
