Naomi's the pilot who parachuted to the island in an ep that aired last April. She's the one who's in contact with the other people with the ship who are now supposed to rescue them except that Charlie found out they are not good people. They never did much with her character so it's not that I'm really sad about her death so much as frustrated that the show has gotten rid of one more black character. :(
