Character encoding test

If I write Khazad-dûm or Théoden or palantír, does it show up correctly on your screen, or do the accented vowels turn into question marks or gibberish?

ETA: What about something slightly more outlandish, like Władca Pierścieni?

I'm glad. I think the words look better with their accents and I would be sad to have to take them out.

Do you mean the extra markings on the words? Yes, I can see them though I'm not sure what the marks sound like :-(

Yeah, I meant the markings. Sometimes I get e-mails from my professors where the accented letters go all funky, makes it really hard to read. LJ seems to display them okay though.
