hobbity remix?

danachan and I think there should be a LOTR FPF remix later this year, maybe late summer or autumn. Something a good deal smaller and more intimate than the massive multifandom remixredux, but a little more general than last years Interspecies remix breelanders. Each participant would, you know, take a story by another participant and rework it; if you're unfamiliar with the concept of a remix, the explanation here is nice.

*hugs* I know you're not signing up for challenges these days, but I am a little surprised not to see more of a response. If this doesn't work out I may just have to approach my friends out of the blue and ask if I can remix or write companion pieces to their fics!
