Oh, that's good to know about the private comments. I think I will probably do that. The objections a couple people (no one on my f-list) had raised about importing comments were the main reason I was hesitating to import at all - I'd heard talk about them developing an option for openID users to screen all their comments but that doesn't seem to be happening.
