There have really been so many wonderful, quality fics in the last few days, and if I were a responsible citizen of the fandom I would be linking to those, or at least reading them all and leaving substantive feedback, but right now I really just want to tell you about two April Fool's ficlets that I read two hours ago and that I'm still cracking up about (both rps):

I'd already read The Solution, and just laughed till I cried. Now I've read a second hysterically funny fic in one evening, thanks to you.

They showed up on my f-list one on top of the other, so I read them together. It was pretty awesome. The last line of "A Still Pool" rocks my world.

airgiodslv is actually one of my favorite writers. (Er, the prose of last night's fic is not, you know, typical of her!) I don't know if you're familiar with her work, but she's done a lot of Dom/Elijah and sometimes Orlando and I think you'd enjoy her style a lot. Fade Out, for instance, is great.

Yes, I *am* familiar with her work. Outstanding. She does a lot in very few words. She's also written HP, y'know.

Mmm, yeah, I haven't read any of her HP yet, but I'm sure she does it well.

Oh, honey, misunderstanding! [Unknown site tag] said she was firing her f-list for not realizing that the ficlet hadn't actually been written by her. It's okay though because both she and

capnobvious rehired me (which was pretty exciting, because I was never on either one's f-list anyway!

I'm just a grad student. They won't fire me unless I, you know, continue to spend all my time writing about horny hobbits rather than the Spanish Civil War.
