Even though you're not online much these days I think of you all the time, like when I use the Pippin icon you made me or when I use this one and I remember when I first got it and I commented all excited to tell you I had a Pippin icon and you politely let me know it was actually Merry. :D
When I look at the fics I've written it amazes me how many of them were because of you, how reading your fics and talking with you helped me fall in love with Pippin and with Merry/Pippin and Frodo/Pippin and Frodo/Merry/Pippin but also with so many minor characters and original characters, and with the idea of writing minor characters at all without being afraid of other people calling them Mary Sues, of writing het and femslash and genfic about girls.
I remember all the good chats we had and how I could say things to you that I didn't tell anyone else, like when we'd post fics and wait together for the zillions of comments that never came or when we talked about real life. I remember how we'd e-mail each other pieces of really hot angsty Pippin trashfic that we never finished, and how you were my ally at promoting remixes in hobbit fandom and that time I came to your house and we watched the whole first season of Supernatural in, what was it? Three days? I'm so glad that we did all these things.
I hope you have a chance to drop in and see your f-list today. I hope you and your mom and your cat are well and I hope you're having a really good day. *hugs and hugs*
