I have so much to look forward to reading at the Spring 2006 Frodo Fic Exchange. I was correct last week in guessing that The Adventure of the Phantom Mewlips, the fantastic Sherlock Holmes hobbit pastiche I received, was written by the lovely mordelhin. The fic I wrote was Family and Friends for the lovely ladysunrope. This is my first F/M and my first NC-17 and those know me you know I'm easily intimidated, so please be gentle. Heartfelt thanks and tight hugs to danachan for her support all through the writing of this and beta at the end. Thanks again to alchemilla, baranduin, claudia603, and trianne, and to everyone who participated for the terrific challenge. I'm sorry not to have been participating much myself, but I am through the worst of finals now and will have more time to read and socialize starting in a few days. *hugs*

yay! Like I said in the email, I haven't read your fic yet (the hobbit on hobbit lurve will come after I finish the gen fics, but I will get to them! :D)

Naw, it was great to be able to take a couple hours out during the evil super busy time and come on here and enjoy the excitement and the fun of it, even though I haven't actually gotten to read much yet. I think it's really cool that you're reading all the fics. You should read Mordelhin's while you're doing the gen thing -- its PG-13 is only for minor gen creepiness. Take all the time you need though. *hugs*
