shirebound! It's been great to see so much good news from you lately. I hope your year is filled with joy and good health and puppies!
Shirebound was one of the first writers I started reading back in 2004 when I first discovered fanfic. I remember when I was a brand new lurker, reading Quarantined on ff.net and being so caught up in the story but also so impressed with her warmth and the time she took to thank all her readers for their comments at the beginning of each chapter. It also blew my mind when Shirebound was one of the first people to comment on the first fic I wrote. It never occurred to me then that someday we'd not only interact online but get to meet and hug in person. I love fandom and I'm really glad that we're friends, Shirebound!
