Aw, my Remixer seems to have defaulted. I won't pretend I'm not bummed (What is wrong with my fics omg were they too fluffy, too squicky, too boring??) but, hey, if you're here as my pinch hitter welcome, and thank you so much for jumping in. I submitted mine about 15 minutes before the deadline last night. It still needs a lot of work (and even after that, I don't know, maybe it won't make any sense and people will hate it la la la insecurity) but, even more so than at Yuletide, I'm taking advantage of the thing where fics at the AO3 can be edited until the last minute.

How are you folks dealing with your deadlines?

Writing, rewriting, scrapping. I keep wibbling on the POV, ugh.

I settled on a POV pretty quickly but I'm still wibbling about everything else. Thank goodness for editing at the AO3.

I am so taking advantage of being able to edit-after-the-fact. I have a final project due tonight at midnight, and yeah, unfortunately Remix got shafted between this and the final project that was due last week and the friend that was visiting from out of town.

No, you are doing the responsible thing. I have a big school thing due Thursday but I chose to spend today on Remix revisions, which was probably not the smartest move in the long run. Feels good to have a revised draft in though!

oh yeah, I posted mine probably an hour or two before deadline. now I'm keeping an eye on the pinch-hitting list in case something comes up that I can write, and waiting impatiently.

Yay pinch hitting! I originally signed up to be on the list but I took myself off when I realized I'd be working on this one right until the end + dealing with another deadline later this week. :/ I hope you get something interesting to do!
