heather about the Being Human season 3 finale! (That is, I loved it! If you hated it you might not enjoy that post or comments much.) Major spoilers, obvs.
Here are some multifandom reccing comms on Dreamwidth! I haven't really participated in any of them but community participation on Dreamwidth and recs are two good things, so I intend to do so.
-fancake: A fanfic rec comm. The mods post a new theme once a month (around the 15th!) and anyone can post recs for that theme. Themes so far have been amnesia, telepathy, superpowers, and now crossovers/fusions. I think this will be the most useful of these comms for me; I like the themed challenges and the time limits would be good motivation for me to go ahead and post.
-bestthingever: "bestthingever is not a rec comm where you look through your bookmarks and recommend your all time favorites. It's a comm for the avid reader to rec the latest incredible thing they came across and can't wait to share with everyone. It's for new fics only, and the holycrapawesome ones at that.
-list50: Users pick a theme and post a list of 50 good fics. These are mostly lists rather than full recs, so in some cases the info is pretty minimal, but if that's a theme you know you like, then yay here are a bunch of titles to explore. ETA: this comm is open to other kinds of fanworks too, not just fics!
-podficpool: A searching and reccing comm for podfics. This comm hasn't been very active lately but you can get a lot of great listening material out of one post. For instance, the latest post is a set of long and angsty and plotty podfics.
