Summary: Frodo and Rosie each try to go on with their lives after losing Sam.
Notes: Um, so. I posted the first six chapters in the summer of 2007. I had already written most of the rest, but there were some places where I was stuck and I felt really discouraged because so few people were reading and then I stopped working on it. I always felt bad about leaving it there, but going back to finish it always seemed like too huge a task, especially because I didn't even feel the same way about the characters as I did when I started it, when I considered Frodo/Sam to be THE OTP. So I didn't and didn't and didn't, and then this weekend I did. It's probably pretty uneven, the final chapters are kind of rushed and it's not a story I would write today. But it's my longest ever fic and now it's finished.

OH! I loved this first parts of this - I'm sooooooo excited to get to read it longform!

Aw, thanks so much for letting me know that! I felt awful about leaving it the way I did, and it was the experience that made me swore off posting WIPs because I did not have the follow-through for it. I think it'll be much easier to read as a single fic.
