Podfics on the AO3

A few days ago I finished posting my old podfics at the AO3! There are 171 of them! A few of those are compilations, but still, gosh!

This took a long time and was frustrating for a lot of reasons, including the AO3 really not being set up for podfic posting, despite many years of promises. Oh well! I am very grateful to paraka for hosting my files and to other podficcers for help and support.

Today I took the sticky/forward-dating off my podfic index, which mostly linked to old journal entries which in turn sometimes linked to broken links at Mediafire or elsewhere. Will still be nice to have that when I want to find the original posts and comments on things.

I was also one of (the least vocal of) ten people who recorded 5ish Times Holtzmann Kissed a Ghostbuster (or honorary Ghostbuster) +2, an improvised Ghostbusters/Merlin fusion, at podfication, Oct. 2016.

And I recorded a couple things at podfication 2017 last week, and will try to post about those more promptly once they go up. :)

Yeah, it was pretty terrible at times, and the built-in player at the AO3 stopped working a couple months ago! But it was also often a nice nostalgia trip. Too bad about all the coding.

I have boxes of CDs and boxes of photos that I have been meaning to organize for, you know, some time.
