a fic meme

A fic meme from [livejournal.com profile] rubynye and [livejournal.com profile] almostnever:

Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

(Yes, I'm aware of all those requests from that other post. They're in progress. Really.)

Here is my fic index.

ETA: Okay, thank you for the ideas! I think I'll cut them off now and will try to do them all in drabbles.

I would really like to see Not Yourself in, say, about 5 years time -- after the end of the story. Use the ending that has a little more (desperate) hope unless you'd prefer the original ending (which, as an ending, I found more powerful albeit depressing).

(I've just discovered your Firefly drabbles through your list. Squeeeee!)

*gapes*

Okay, wow, that is just incredible. Please don't make me comment on what makes it incredible omg, only that it is.

Desperate hope indeed! Desperate on the part of Aragorn, perhaps. None on the part of Frodo!

Oh my goodness. You've just about killed me with this (I do mean this in a positive way, I assure you!!)

Now I want to know more about Aragorn -- what makes him cling to this desperate hope. Frodo doesn't believe, and his people are gone. He cannot ever believe again because it's too late. But what makes Aragorn hang on to that last shred? What keeps him going in the face of such utter devastation?

Gah......!

A year after Torn From a Map... :D

I am very glad you are capable of doing nice things for Frodo from time to time, because this is beautiful. And you will probably make up for it with angst in time. ♥

It was believing and living and loving that made Minas Tirith his home.

♥ Gorgeous, that is.

Frodo goes out to walk in the sunshine every day, comes home every night to lie in the arms of the King.

*adores*

Oh, that is lovely---I just adore feel-good drabbles showing a happy Frodo.

Yes indeed, this more than shows your ability to make our Fro' warm and cozy now and again. Thanks for this!

Either a couple of years after 'The Silent Street' (or a couple of days instead, since you wanted to write that story one day, and why not take a look at it now?); alternatively, a couple of years after 'He Came To Meet Me'. I am all about there being choice!

I'll give you a vague nudge to continue with the Odd and Even series you wrote for Dana because I want to read more! I say "vague" because I know you said there would be more, but I'm not sure if you meant that the timeline would span days, months, years, etc. So how about, er, a day? A week?

Cousins, yay! :D

Oooo... I'd like some more "Not Here," please, for old times sake. Either just before the story ends or just before it begins---your call!
