Hehe. That's an old one. I can't remember which show it's from but I'm amazed it's available in a translated version. That's Øystein Bache and Rune Gokstad, two of the funniest Norwegian comedians there are. It's been some time since they did anything though.

Yup, in case you wondered, I am Norwegian. I am also a lover of Merry and thus came here looking for fics - guided by claudia603 btw. Mind if I friend you? I don't write much hobbit fic (or any other for that matter) more myself, but I do still occasionally read Merry related stuff.

My dad's grandparents came to the US from Sweden and a lot of my relatives who live around here have Norwegian ancestry, but sadly we have not kept up the language.
