A conspiracy of hobbits

danachan and I are going to run a remix-type fic exchange just for hobbit fic. Please go read more about it here and then join (and friend) the community a_conspiracy. Sign up during the first two weeks of May. This is open for everything from G-rated hobbits in the Shire with blankets to NC-17 interspecies slash, but we will make an effort to pair you with someone whose fics you'll enjoy working with. Please please please do join in and, whether or not you feel you can join, please pimp.

Also, remixthedrabble sign-ups are open here until Sunday. A respectable number of hobbit fans have signed up but it would be nice to have more. Drabble purists, please note that actual drabbles in exactly 100 words will be honored with cutesy symbols.

And again I'll say, this is really not so much a challenge as some sharing among friends. Not meant to be stressful and I hope it won't be.

We will definitely tell middleearthnews. I was thinking we'd wait until the sign-ups were open, but we'll see what Dana thinks.

awww...Yay! I will certainly consider it! I'm hesitant because my workload has been so heavy lately and I'd hate to put yet another deadline on myself...but we'll see how things shape up!!!

Hey, I totally understand! Myself I am excited that this (and maybe the one Lora's been talking about) will be going on in the summer when I'll have a lot more free time and I hope I can get a lot of fic written. It would be really cool if you could join in too.
