When my friend adopted a little girl the same age as my little boy, she commented that her daughter ate like a hobbit. That is, she had several breakfasts every day. My son does that too.
Yes, and they probably have less health problems than we do in part because they stress less about their appearance. (That, and because whatever fantasies I have about how the world should be I project on to hobbit society.)
It was silly of me to even ask, really! Everyone knows that Frodo would have wanted me to be happy, so why angst about it? Also I walked through that lovely park that I'd totally forgotten was there. Hooray for ice cream!
