Serenity?

A question for elanorgardner and all the rest of you Firefly zealots: if I've never seen the show, should I still go see Serenity tomorrow night? (And no, Elanor, renting the DVDs and catching up this weekend is not an option.)

ETA: Yes, everybody go see it, even if you haven't watched Firefly! Serenity! Go see it right away!

Yes, go see it. (And feel my jealous wrath, cause I ain't going tomorrow.)

No, you don't need to see the series (but it IS fun, trust me!) The movie was made to "catch you up" without boring you silly. At least that is what they tell me.

I can't wait. But don't feel guilty, just cause you get to go and I don't. *sniff*

I'd say go for it, for the reasons that elanorgardner just said. Then if you like it and see the series, you can go back later and pick up on anything you may have missed.
