claudia603, thank you for the postcard! I'm happy to know that when you see creepy old institutional buildings you think of me. :D It is awesome that things are going so well for you there.
In other news, I was so anxious about getting my Faculty fic ready in time that I ended up posting a day early. I thought today was the fifth! So I ended up messing up the one-post-per-day part of the C/Z Love Month. :/ Still, I'm happy that I finished that one and the Maya/Alejandro that I'd posted last week (another one where I'd committed to posting on a specific date). I was worried because I'd given up the thing with writing every day in February, but they both worked out all right. I still can't relax though because I'm signed up for four different exchanges with deadlines in the next six weeks. o_0

Three ficlets (300-1000) and three images. Eeep, this is coming up really soon! I think I'm mostly okay with the ficlets – I've started writing two of them and have a plan for all three, and they're not supposed to be long, so it should be fine. On the other hand, I have no idea what to do about the images. The directions say you don't need to have mad graphics skillz, that they can be found pictures or whatever, but I don't even know what to look for. I had a certain DVD out from Netflix a few weeks ago to review the canon, and was intending to at least make some screencaps, but I accidentally sent it back when I meant to send back something else. There was another DVD I meant to check out for its canon, but it's a little late for that now so I'll probably just use Wikipedia.
frodochallenges – due Friday, March 28
Fic of at least 1000 words. I haven't started writing this one!! And other people have finished theirs already! At least I pretty much know what I'm going to do, but I really need to start in on this soon.
remixthedrabble – due Tuesday, April 1st
I signed up to write three ficlets, which could be drabbles or something else up to 500 words, depending on what I'm remixing. The assignments haven't gone out yet (sign-ups are still open!) so it's not my fault that I haven't started. These should be fun.
remixredux08 – due Saturday, April 12
Fic of at least 1000 words. I'm really excited about this one! I haven't started writing yet, but I've picked one of my remixee's fics and have a brilliant plan for how to transform it. Actually, I'm probably especially excited since I haven't written anything, like, it's at that stage where I can still imagine it as this grand and fabulous fic, without frustration at my own writing getting in the way. Seriously though, I am really happy about this, I think it will be a more creative and interesting remix than the ones I've written before.

If it makes you feel any better at all, I have a lame lame lame rough draft of my Frodo challenge but I'm afraid to look at it. I'm afraid that it sucks more than anything in the world. :D

Sometime we should get together on chat and talk about fics. I want to babble about my ideas for the remix and I need to get inspired for the Frodo one too. It is a really good assignment and I was excited when I first got it, but I haven't gone anywhere with it yet.
