Oooh, I'm lazier. It's been playing here since the 16th and I haven't made it yet. (There was finals week, of course, and then there was Christmas, but I really should have made it by now.)

I do hope you get a chance to see it on the big screen, dear. The scenery and other images are really spectacular. That said, part of me's kind of looking forward to getting the DVD so I can watch it at home and get all emotional and stuff without thinking about the people I'm with or the other people in the theater.

But from the comments I read before I commented, myself, I'm sorry to hear that it will probably be socially awkward -- terribly sorry, and I wish that weren't so.

Perhaps you'll be lucky? And I won't feel bad, then, being so jealous.

You never know! It may be totally great socially as well as being a fabulous movie. Actually I'm sure it'll be okay. I like all the people involved and they like me, it's just that there's some other stuff going on. I may put more in a flocked post later or I might just leave it alone...

Noooo! It's not yet in our city! But it's coming...We saw the poster for it in the lobby today -- yay!

The theater we went to was pretty crowded even though it was a matinee, and it seems like the movies doing very well at the box office, which is good to hear. I hope you get to see it soon. Do bring tissues.

Yeah. I'd avoided reading about it ahead of time so I really had no idea what I was getting into (other than "gay cowboys"). I wasn't prepared at all. I'm not sure if I can handle going again, though I think it'd be good to go with a different perspective, after talking with some friends and reading the story today.

It was really great though. I do encourage everyone to go. Just, yeah, maybe not on a fragile day.
