Today I parallel parked. Twice! Yes, it was a big space on a street with no traffic and it still took me five minutes and a lot of stress each time, but still! I did it!

It's hot and I'm sad with post-moot blues, and feeling bad because I didn't do the Serious things I'd intended to do today, but whatever. (I parallel parked!) I think I'm going to go out now and see Tropic Thunder.

Woot! Good for you. See, we all have our special abilities. I can parallel park like a master but am clueless as to how to ride a bus, until you came along.

Just keep practicing. It gets easy after awhile.

It sucks that there isn't an easier way to practice, you know, without risking hundreds of dollars of damage to both cars! Riding the bus, not nearly as risky! ♥

One of the reasons that I almost never try to parallel park is that I'm sure people will be looking and will laugh at my inability to do it, the way we laughed at the people across from the hotel. :D
