I think I'm going to sign up for Yuletide after all. I think I can manage to balance it with the RL stuff (as long as I can stay away from that darn wiki). I mean, last year I wrote three extra stories in the last two or three days. Surely I can handle one assignment. Everyone will be a little rushed this year and it'll all work out. And receiving something will make my holiday so much more fun.
ETA I just wrote my Halloween Faculty drabble last night and it was fun, as well as reassuring to know that it is still possible for me to write fanfic, even if only in little bits and pieces.
