Yay, [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest is happening again this year! They are now taking prompts here for stories about (canonically or not) lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender characters in all fandoms and crossovers! Posting will happen in April and May. Maybe I will actually write something this year, or maybe I will sit back and enjoy reading again. :)

Mary Renault fans, there are already good prompts for The Charioteer and The Persian Boy. Why not add some more?

So far there aren’t any Merlin prompts up. What’s with that? What’s a gayer show than Merlin?

Thanks for this post. I read the prompts that have been submitted so far, and they're quite interesting. The one lone bsg prompt is actually a rather good one, and something that I had never considered before. However, it gives a lot of food for thought.

I really like reading the prompts there too. I'm especially intrigued by some of the Torchwood ones (because, time travel!). Last year [livejournal.com profile] rubynye had some really interesting LotR prompts too but I don't think any of them got picked up.

Claudia and I watched the gayest episode last night and it was so damn awesome! And the fandom writes metaphorical coming out stories over and over and I love them so much. OMG.
