Help finding Lotrips and LotR fics

There was a post today at lotrips_finders looking for a specific Merry/Pippin h/c fic, with no responses yet. Maybe some of you hobbit kids can help them out.

Lotrips fans, we're looking for Dom/Elijah recs at lotr_fic_recs this month. Just one new rec so far, and a depressing number of the ones recced in previous challenges have since been taken off the Internet or put under f-lock. I'm pleased that the ones by people on my friends list are still public anyway. :)

My favorite LotRiPS stuff (besides cesare's) was Jube & Kate, and kissingathelas, all of whom have taken their stuff offline. D:

Ugh, I didn't know that KA had done that too.

We have Kate's Robotrips marked as f-locked but do you know if it's actually offline? I can update the information at least. :/

At least we still have Ces and Anatsuno!

Yeah, kissing_athelas privatised all her fic. Just looking on my delicious bookmarks, I have 14 fics by her listed, which is more than any other LotRiPS author. D: I don't know why that fandom seems to have such a high percentage of people who delete/flock/privatise their fics when they leave. :(

I clicked on the link for one of Kate's fics and it just says I'm not allowed to view the entry, so it may just be flocked. But I know she and Jube deleted the St. Catherine's comm, which was the AU with everyone as rentboys in Canada (I loved that series!).

It's weird, when I first started helping out at that comm all I did was fix links, and there were always old personal website that had gone down, but most of the time I was able to track down those fics posted somewhere else. And if the link was an LJ one I could usually trust that it would still be there. But a whole lot of them are gone now, and specifically the D/E post is probably the one where the least number of the original links are still good.

my guess is Kate privatised everything, locked it down to herself. I don't think anyone's on that filter.

the disappearances make me so fucking sad. :/
