Arthur/Merlin fic recs

I read two great, long Merlin/Arthur fics today:

Days of old and days to be by anon (at camelotsolstice)

Summary: Regency AU in which Arthur is the darling of the ton, Merlin is still a terrible valet, Mordred is a radical rabble-rouser, and Gwen's in love with a Light Dragoon.

The summary makes it sound like it'll be fairly silly and the first few scenes are, light and clever and very funny, but it's also got dreams and reincarnation and I ended up finding it really beautiful. I really loved Merlin in it and Arthur's slowly dawning understanding of how special he is. I often hear people say the fandom doesn't have enough historical AUs and I tend to go "eh" because I'm not so much into historical AUs (I don't actually know what Regency means, for instance), but I loved the attention to detail, the setting and the language in this, and it made great use of all the cast, including Gwen and Lancelot.

Summary: Arthur had been taught right from wrong and this, this was wrong!

Also Arthur POV, but this one all set in the canon timeline. Arthur sees Merlin and Will together and that upsets him but eventually leads to uncover things about himself and his childhood, as well as that whole sorcery thing. This was posted back in May and I liked the way it used the plot of the last few episodes of the first season but also went in a different direction from canon in having a Christian priest that's relevant to the story. I also enjoyed seeing Merlin being caring and fierce, and the really hot sex.
