Amazing healing power of fanfic
Yesterday afternoon I was feeling a little sad, and somehow even all the gorgeous pics of a certain young man in a bright yellow t-shirt weren't doing much to cheer me up. I considered writing a whiny, cryptic post to elicit virtual hugs from my f-list, but I confined myself to whining a little at
claudia603 and then went home and read
shirebound's Sing Me Home, and had a good, satisfying cry. I've been feeling much, much better since then.
Yea, Janet! The Lord of the Rings now has a heartbreakingly beautiful happy ending in my mind, and she didn't even have to go AU! How does she do this?! The woman's talent is staggering!
*celebrates*
ETA: The complete story (with fantastic epilogue, Frodo and Sam and Frodo's strong arms) is here.

'Whining' is good sometimes. Let things out. Good to hear you are feeling better now.
Think I need to reread Shirebounds story. I don't remember it very well.

It certainly has been and still is a emotional rollercoast. There's been much hapinnes but also some very sad things happening. It is good to know help and support is around.
