Last four episodes of House

I have brief, non-spoilery thoughts on the last four episodes of House.

The one with the missing baby
I loved the Foreman and Taub scenes in this. I loved their clothes and the lighting and the setting of the file room. It was sexy and reminded me of the movie Zodiac.

The one with the gay PotW
The karaoke scene didn't make any sense in the episode, but that didn't stop it from being totally awesome! I loved Chase especially.

The one before the last one
I loved this episode! I love Andre Braugher so much! Even when he wears schlumpy sweaters! I loved the way this episode got told, with the cuts between the interview and the remembered/imagined scenes. I didn't even care that it was kinda gimmicky.

The last one
Everybody looked hot in these other clothes they were wearing! Especially Foreman when he was at the site at the beginning and Taub at the hospital. (Not so much Foreman at the hospital in his pink scrubs.)

This episode was exciting and made me nostalgic for ER. So much so that I think I'm going to go find an old ER episode and watch it before I go to bed. Probably one of the big Carter episodes from season six. ♥ Carter.

Exodus was amazing! It was the episode where Carter turned into a ~man :-) There was a toxic spill and the entire ER was contaminated and Carter was still either an intern or a young resident at the time, but doctors just kept going down, including Kerry who was the Senior Attending, and Carter just TOOK OVER and handled the entire mess, directing people where to go and what to do, and people listened to him, doctors and nurses and patients, and he saved this dude's life in a really creative way on top of everything, and finally when it was all over the... CDC guys, I think? Came up to him to thank him and tell him he did a great job and they should work out a schedule for joint drills in the future or something, and he was all, "Oh, I'm just an intern" and they said "O_o Coulda fooled me..."

Hee, dude, if you're a Carter fan, watch that episode <3

I really disliked the stabbing/addiction arc :/ But you know, it's what happens when you watch shows for a long time; characters leave, characters change, plots start to feel more and more contrived. It's possible that if I'd started watching the show in season 6 I would have loved those arcs, but given that I was a huge fan of the characters and plots of seasons 1-4, too many cast changes and character changes just made me disconnect in seasons 5-6 and onwards. I think I stopped watching not long after Carol left the show.

(and now I have her back on The Good Wife! Yay :D I really love JM there.)
