So today kind of sucked in real life. But look! I got an Arbitrary Mod Prize at kink_bingo! It is for my Gwen/Morgana backpacking AU fic! eruthros made me a banner and said nice things about it and everything!




Here are the rest of the prizes. That challenge has been so much fun. I'm going to try to go for a blackout during the amnesty period. I'm not sure how that will interact with the monthly mini-challenges, but that's okay. I'm sure they will be inspiring.

I was going to record a podfic tonight, but then I realized that the later it is the more I freak out about my neighbors maybe hearing me, and also that recording while balancing this lovely heat pack on my back is tricky. (Thanks for the advice on the neck pain, friends!) Maybe tomorrow (but probably not because, ack, real life).

Also I asked a friend to do a collaborative podfic with me, and they're thinking about it. Did you see and listen to The One Where Gwen and Morgana (and Merlin) Save Arthur From Being Eaten By Bears (the multi-accent remix)? That was awesome.

Oooh ooh and also! Speaking of things I need to record! such_heights might do a vid with that Gwen/Morgana song I wrote! So I need to try to do a better recording, seeing as how if that happened then a bunch of people would listen! It would be awesome! But so scary!!!

Today I read a camelotremix fic that got finished early. I am so jealous of its author for having finished (and pulled off a great remix on their first try)! I was excited about mine at the start but then sort of started flailing and I haven't worked any more on it. :/

I've also been feeling discouraged about merlinfemfest ever since I watched the preview that had the first minute of the first season 3 episode. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first episode a lot, and the Morgana/Morgause was very hot, but I want my Gwen fic, so idk.

I haven't tried yet so cannot offer feedback on this, but certainly we'd have to watch out for added noise or discordance. But it really sounded interesting, and if it works, I wondered if we could try making it a fleet activity or something like that. =)

Your Lancelot story was really interesting. It creates so many new possibilities to think about now every time Lancelot lays himself down for someone or self-sacrifices. Thank you for writing it!
