Okay so! Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes, friends! I'm sorry I haven't responded to all of them yet! Still, here are some links to some things!

-claudia603 made me a Gwen/Morgana drabble!

-oconel probably didn't realize it was my birthday, but she made me a Merlin/Morgana modern AU ficlet IN SPANISH at the camelot_fleet party this weekend! Gwen siempre tiene razón (rated G, no spoilers).

[-I am writing some Merlin/Morgana fic (in English) myself! It's up to 950 words now but I don't really know how much it needs. It's episode-related so I hope I can finish it before the next one airs on Saturday!]

-There is a new comm for people who want to read and write in Spanish on Dreamwidth, en_espanol!

-livrelibre wrote a fine Zoe/River (Firefly) fic for femslash10, Still Flying True. Thanks to zulu for the rec!

-Since Sunday I've really been enjoying following the discussion at happydork's post Why am I not writing the stories I say I want to read? (about the challenges of breaking out of the habit of writing about pretty young cis white dudes - for people who already want to do so!) and today she followed it up with a practical strategies post How I can write more of the stories I say I want to read. I hope that one generates a lot of discussion too (and eventually, you know, a lot of fic).

Ah, I never remember anyone's birthdays. It always makes me feel vaguely guilty when people remember mine!

Hope you enjoy the links. I really appreciated the honesty in so many of the comments at happydork's first post. It did not feel like the excuses that tend to get repeated when this kind of discussion comes up.
