two Lancelot het ficlets and some Gwen gen

The December mini-challenge is to create tiny bingos: five tiny fills in a line. They can be fics or meta or podfics up to 100 words, a single icon, 1 or 2 recs, etc. This is open to everybody, whether or not you've played kink_bingo before. Think signing up for a challenge is a little intimidating or feel bad because you never did anything for the card you have before? Just stop by the comm and choose a line from one of the communal bingo cards.

I got really excited about this challenge yesterday and I came up with this plan to write five drabbles about Lancelot, each a different AU.

I mean, here was the long awaited return of Lancelot episode and they made it NOT LANCELOT AT ALL, pretty much completely destroyed his character...except that they kept the part where he is the subbiest sub that ever subbed. I was very sad about the ep all last week but then yesterday I started thinking, well, the least we can do for our dear Lancelot is make some fanworks about him. Also this morning I have a really fucked up Arthur/Gwen bunny also inspired by that ep, and I'm finally communicating with my merlinreversebb artist and thinking about what I can write for that. Who knew? The last time I wrote anything at all was in September and you wouldn't think this totally depressing episode would be the one to set me off again, but here is a bit of fic.

Only then once I started trying to write them I realized that doing an AU and a kink in 100 words is really hard, so I decided to make each one 500 words instead! Here are the two I've finished so far. Maybe I will also do a line of drabbles later!

Also yesterday I posted 2500 words of Gwen & Merlin gen (with a bit of background Arthur/Gwen and hints of Gwen/Morgana) over at this weekend's camelot_fleet party. It was meant to be the prologue of an epic Gwen fic that I was working on after season 2, but it more or less stands on its own as a quiet reveal and a coda for 2x13.

(I used to write trufax drabbles and genfic all the time, ha ha ha.)
