Oh for goodness sake, I forgot the other half of what was supposed to be in my previous post:

I'm excited about the new round of camelotremix!

I was feeling a little weird about signing up when I hadn't written any new fic since last year's remix, but flammablehat and I decided that was fine, and also that I would go ahead and post those Freya ficlets, and that we would both write some other new stuff. Yay!

camelotremix/camelotremix! A comm I helped start, now modded by the fabulous venivincere and sapphirescribe, who did such a fine job with it last year. Signups are open through Saturday the 1st.

The many comments on the LJ signup and the handful on Dreamwidth are a beautiful microcosm of the fandom.

Gosh, there are quite a lot of signups. I find it somehow nice that the fandom is still chugging cheerfully along.

I'm actually, and possibly unwisely, considering signing up, as I have been experiencing pangs of fannish nostalgia for both Merlin and remixing recently. I'm still hemming and hawing over whether my total disinterest in M/A, remixing it, reading it, or having any of my fics remixed with that slant, limits my ability to be a properly enthusiastic participant.

I shall mull it over further.

Well I just realized that the signups were closed and I had not replied to your comment so sorry for being such a dork, but I'm very glad that you decided to go for it anyway. Maybe they will match up people with similar pairing interests, as we did the first year. To be honest I'm a little surprised at the number of people saying they can only do the one pairing. I guess we'll see!
