alchemia has a poll about gender and sexuality in fandom (especially fanfic) that I enjoyed filling out, although the text boxes were a little small (how many characters does it take to answer the question "Why do you like slash?"?) and there's no female option on the gender question, so you have to tick other. She might write a paper about it or might not. Answers are confidential.
