to-write list

I haven't really written anything in the past week or two, but in February I'm gonna do the thing where I write at least 100 words every day again. It worked really well in November when I was writing my yuletide fic. Here are the things I need to write this next month:
-A short Frodo ficlet for lilybaggins. It's been stalled at 300 words for like a year, but it's cute. I'd like to get it out there.
-Homecoming. This should be totally easy. I already finished a draft of part 7 weeks ago, and I've got a few hundred words of 8, which I think can be the last one. I just hate endings, but it is silly of me to have drawn this one out for so long. Just sit down and do it, Sophie!
-A Maya/Alejandro fic (Heroes fandom) for choc_fic. I've got over 1000 words on this and a pretty good idea of what else I need to do. I think I might even have a title! ("De prisa de prisa, rumbo perdido" – or, I don't know, are foreign-language titles considered pretentious?) This one needs to be posted on February 28th, so I'll need to get it done a few days before that so I can get it betaed.
-Something Casey/Zeke for C/Z Love Month, needs to be posted on March 5th. I don't know I'm going to do for this, if I should try to finish another old one-shot that's been sitting around for a long time or start something new.
-A supersecret something for the Frolijah Exchange. I won't say anything else except that I'm really, really happy with my assignment. This is due on March 28th.

baranduin tells me I wrote the longest request in the exchange, and it made me laugh because for all those words I know my request is still very vague. I hope the person writing for me can find something to work with anyway. :)

Vague is a 2-word request. On the other hand, that makes the sky the limit!

In my Yuletide requests I did a lot of "I would like this... or this... or this other thing" and my writer ended up incorporating all of them! It was pretty great, but probably wouldn't work this time around, seeing as how I mentioned, what, eleven different pairings?

I don't know if my Alejandro is very much like canon Alejandro, but I think I'm a little in love with him!

So much fic! Your resolution to write 100 words a day is such a great one. I did that over the Christmas break and it was a really great experience. Unfortunately I haven't been too good about keeping it up, lol. But it's still a great plan :)

I decided to start early and I wrote about 1200 words today! I think February is going to be awesome. I can't keep up the writing every day thing all the time either and sometimes I feel like I need to give myself permission too just to take a break, to enjoy reading or even to put less time into fandom. But in February I'm going to get a lot of writing done.

And I had a good time answering your e-mail too. Whoo, feminism!
