In an attempt to overcome not-posting inertia I'm passing on this video that I saw on schemingreader's LJ, ten minutes of Barack Obama telling funny jokes about himself and John McCain. Whoo! McCain's speech is pretty funny too (with lots of shots of Obama laughing and looking rather handsome). They also say nice things about each other during the last minute or so of their time; don't know how genuine it is but it's a nice change of pace in the middle of such a nasty campaign.

What would we do without YouTube omg? I wouldn't even have heard about this if not for my f-list because I don't watch the news on TV, and I laughed a lot at both of them.

I'm so excited about this election. I would love being an American under the Obama administration. It kind of brings back the feel of JFK's forward-looking and inspiring leadership.
