Today has been a good day for me! I went through one more round of revisions on the two Yuletide stories I have finished and uploaded them both to the archive, giving me stories number 155 and 156 to go in this year, a full week ahead of the deadline. Whoo!

Also this afternoon I went to see the movie Milk with my friend K. I realized a few minutes in – maybe during the opening credits, actually – that it would be one of those movies where you cry off and on all the way through. (This was something my friend L., whom some of you met in Seattle this summer, wrote to me after she saw The Hours for the first time.) But it also managed to make me happy at the same time, since it is so touching on a personal level and so inspiring and just very well done. I really recommend it.

oh my, a crying movie, the best kind! :) I don't know how well I'd handle that, but it sounds very cathartic!

Maybe you can go see it after you get over your cold omg. I'd recommend a big screen though. Not that it's so visually spectacular but for me there was something very special about having all those strangers in the room with me besides my good friend.
