I ended up seeing two of them tonight! I went to see The Queen and then it turned out Last King of Scotland was playing at the same theater, so I decided to make it a double feature. They were both really good! Last King of Scotland was violent and disturbing as I'd been expecting it to be but also really fast-paced and mesmerizing and sexy (though sometimes in a dubious con, Pippin/Denethor kind of way). I hope you get to see them! I'm going to try to see Notes on a Scandal later this week.
Heh, well, reading books would be an even better idea, but seeing movies is more fun. I saw Zodiac this afternoon. I want there to be fic about Dom as a journalist who becomes obsessed with some case no one wants him to work on. I want to have written this fic and then get to post it, but I don't want to go through the bother of actually writing it because I am lazy.
