Season 2/2.5 confusion, help please!

ETA: Resolved, thank you!


So I watched Pegasus a few days ago, am dying of suspense, and just got the nexts DVD in the mail today and I started watching and I guess the first episode is Pegasus again only longer? Is it important that I watch the added scenes, or is there a way of watching only the added scenes? Can I just skip ahead to Resurrection Ship (please)?

You don't need to watch the extended version in order to understand Resurrection Ship. After all, we only saw the short version when it was aired and I only went back and saw the extended version fairly recently, long after Season 2 aired.

So, onwards to Resurrection Ship! :D

I am watching Resurrection Ship now! It's great and the Roslin/Adama shippiness is very strong! I'm going to watch both parts tonight!

I shipped them since the miniseries, but that was definitely the moment that everyone else got on board with me. (c:

(btw, the added scenes from Pegasus add some nice details imo even though they're not necessary to watch, so you might want to go back and watch again now that you've resolved the cliffhanger)

There was definite UST from the beginning, but this was, wow. This was really special. He had tears in his eyes at the end. OMG.

I watched the episode after that and then put the disc in the mail this afternoon so I can get the next one sooner, but at some point I'll probably go back and watch the extended version of Pegasus.

BTW we have been chattering some over at hobbitswatchbsg, Claudia and I who are watching more or less at the same time, and gentlehobbit and mews1945 who watched it earlier. If you feel like joining in we will totally consider you an honorary hobbit. :D

Oh and also I haven't mentioned over there but I wanted to tell you that even though space battles are not really my thing I thought the one in Resurrection Ship was really great.

I joined! And if "Resurrection Ship" set off the squee this much over there, I can't wait to see what you guys make of the episode "Unfinished Business" in season 3, which is probably my all-time favorite BSG episode on so many levels.

I haven't gotten my 2.5 DVDs yet. I'm so enjoying watching all the shows, and seeing their relationship slowly develop the way it did. One of the best-written and most believable romantic relationships ever.
