I'm still having trouble. )= Trying to download keeps giving me "The user hosting this content is out of bandwidth. " error message. I'm ok with listening in stream too, but for your stuff I know it'll be things I'll want to listen to again later, and usually on the go, so downloads would be cool. Maybe you could try having someone add/host them to your audiofic archive reader tag? It's where I raid for my other favourites readers if it's been a while, so maybe other people wait for your things too anyway and it'd provide alternate download links.

Huh, yeah, it does look like I'm way over the bandwidth limit for my free account but not close to the storage limit, and I can't find any information about what to do about that. I wonder if it would help if I took down the older embeds but kept the files there for downloading. Well, that's disappointing, I was liking having box.net with the embedded streaming for these shorter files.

Well, here are MediaFire links for The Telegraph Boy and Limited Edition. I have been posting to amplificathon, which is the way to let the Audiofic archivists know about your podfic, but they've had technical difficulties and haven't archived any of mine since June. :(

The embeds seem to work just fine, and are a great idea (both for listeners and for you). If the Audiofic archive hasn't been updated much lately, maybe there's just an influx of people downloading your hosted files versions instead and that's why it's over the limit? It's odd that there's no easy way for you to find this kind of information about your Box.net account though.

It is all rather mysterious! I just started using box.net last month, and I can tell that the three very short podfics I posted in September had some people streaming and some people downloading, whereas these two slightly longer ones have only had one download each and lots more streaming. But did I run out of bandwidth because people are streaming or are people streaming because I've run out of bandwidth and they can't download? You and meri_sefket are the only ones talked to me about it so I don't know!

In any case the next few podfics I'm planning to post are all longer ones, too big to post to box.net, so I'm expecting to just post them to MediaFire and do without the streaming links. Maybe it'll be easy!

Giving feedback on podcasts is hard. I don't know why "I loved that smut" is easier to say to an author than to a podficcer (for me) but I loved that smut! And the balance between two queer groups having sex. Different kinds of sex, different sexes, all good.

I know, right? It's a lot more personal when it's another person's voice, though you'd think it would also be personal to talk to the person who had the porny ideas in the first place. Anyway, glad you enjoyed! I was really pleased with the balance too, though it's sort of random that it worked out that way. I would've done Limited Edition back in July if it'd been reposted sooner. :)
