Notes: Back in October, pepperlandgirl4's assigned remixer got sick and was not sure she'd be able to finish her remix in time, so I started writing something else as a pinch hit. That got to 2000 words and I realized I wouldn't be able to finish it in time either, so I started this as an emergency backup pinch hit, but in the end the assigned remixer came through so neither one of my extras was needed and I set them aside. Then I came back and finished this today, and maybe I will finish the other one soon. Title is from a song by M. Ward. Thanks to

claudia603 for looking this over for me.

This story probably works a lot better if you read the original first.
