Festivids!

This is my first year participating in Festivids, and it is great! I did watch and comment on some vids the last couple years but then last year I really regretted not signing up, so this year I did, even though exchanges are stressful and scary. It was indeed scary, and I didn't make any of the fabulous extra treats I had planned to do. But since the vids went live last weekend it's been really nice.

Someone made me a really awesome Never Let Me Go vid! It is beautiful and horrible and really skillfully done. I am glad it's getting nice comments though it's not a hugely popular source. On the other hand, I'm also glad that other folks are also commenting on the vid I made, even though that one's not so skillfully done. :) As fitz_y and I agreed about the old summerpornathon, I feel a little silly now for having been so nervous about this, it is all such a love fest.

So I spent a lot of time watching vids last Sunday but not enough since then. Still so many more to see! But luckily they will still be anonymous for another week!

I don't think I'll make a recs post because, really, what I recommend is going to the masterlist on Dreamwidth or on LJ and rolling around in it for a few hours or a few days. Vids! For rarely vidded sources! As gifts! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
